A website “True Trumpers” posted a story on 27th March 2017 and blamed that a “Muslim refugee” was involved for a shooting in Cincinnati before rapidly cancelling out itself. Similar as other websites mentioned, True Trumpers discussed an original incident. The referenced story was basically around mass shooting at a nightclub just before one day. It caused a death of 27 years old O’Bryan Spikes and at least 16 people were injured gathered inside the nightclub building. But, the alleged headline of this story was specific to a “Muslim Refugee” for this shooting. The story also indicated that the U.S President had promised to deport them all. The story further indicated that investigators don’t believe that it was related to Islamic terrorism and it wasn’t similar to the incident happened in the Orlando Night-Club.

Point to be noted that the story was republished word-to-word on another unreliable website with a altered confusing headline and indicated that the Governor of Ohio John Kasich was “about to address the nation”, but the website was unable to explain the claim. Originally, 2 men weren’t identified as whether Refugees or Muslims, but they were charged in relation with the shooting incident. It is important that one suspect 29 years old Deondre Davis was died on 4th April 2017 due to injuries during shooting incident. Investigators believe that Spikes was killed by Davis and the other suspect 27 years old Cornell Beckley was charged with murder. On 18th April 2017, family of Spikes had announced that they will file a civil lawsuit against suspects, Cincinnati police and the owner of Cameo Nightclub.
