A number of social media links marked with “Breaking” in the month of November 2016 and claimed that the Texas State would no longer allow birth certificates that were issued to the children of illegal or undocumented immigrants. This claim was connected with the U.S election took place on 8^th November 2016. We have found that this issue was generated long before and this claim doesn’t have any kind of link with the election event because one of the virally shared versions was published in the month of August 2016. One of the most viral debates has pointed out the issue of whether illegal or undocumented immigrants who give birth to children in the U.S should be able to get birth certificates or citizenship for their children.

It was said that most of the counties within the Texas State will not issue birth certificates to parents for their children born on the soil of the United States, if they are undocumented or illegal. Mexico has threatened that current issue of not issuance of birth certificates would disturb relationship with Texas, so this issue should be resolved. Most of the social media users in the world considered it as “Breaking” news before the U.S presidential election 2016. They think that after electing Donald Trump as the new U.S President on 8^th November, the problem of issuance of birth certificates will be more critical. But, NPR had reported that this issue was appeared in the month of July 2015. The New York Times has reported that an agreement has been made and this agreement will allow undocumented or illegal parents to obtain birth certificates of their children born in the United States.
