A police officer was hospitalized due to eating sandwich with glass chips in Columbus, Ohio

A television station WSYX reported on 18th July 2016 that a police officer in Columbus, Ohio was taken to the hospital after eating a sandwich along with glass chips at a local restaurant. This news was published in the days of intensive situation in the United States because of two unfortunate incidents caused killings of several police officers in the month of July 2016. The television station broadcasted the news that a sandwich was served to a police officer along with glass chips. Most of the viewers assumed that it was served in order to harm the police officer. A number of comments on the Facebook page were supposedly related to the Lincoln Café restaurant in Columbus, Ohio and said that the restaurant should be closed permanently.

It is important that the Police Department of Columbus also posted a message on their official Twitter account and said that there was no such evidence to believe that any person from the restaurant was intentionally involved in serving a sandwich having glass chips. But, it is still unclear that how the pieces of glass were mixed in the sandwich of police officer. The Public Health officials of Columbus also indicated that they recovered a number of glass pieces with different shapes. The officials also said that they examined the food and asked to the person served the sandwich, and they were not able to find anything wrong with the food, but they found a number of broken glass pieces on the border and at least four little pieces under the drying rack of broken glass.
