A number of Ukrainian Soldiers killed in heavy violence in the Country

The military officials of Ukraine have indicated that at least 9 soldiers have died in conflicts with Russian-backed rebels in the east of Ukraine. The conflicts started after a separatist announcement to form a new state called “Little Russia”. The U.S State Department also condemned and said that the “It was a deadliest one-day period in 2017” regarding the deaths of at least 9 Ukrainian soldiers on Thursday during a clash in the eastern regions of Mariupol and Donetsk. A spokesman for the U.S State Department, Heather Nauert issued a statement that Russia is deploying its specially trained armed forces in the east to rapidly implement a ceasefire. He pointed out about blaming for backing those rebels by Kremlin, as he initiated the voice for freedom in various parts in the eastern regions of the country since 2014.

Ukraine Clashes

The military spokesman of Ukraine, Col. Andriy Lysenko has confirmed 4 deaths. The incident took place near Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region due to tank and mortar fire, which caused 4 deaths. One soldier was killed in Donetsk and one in Novogorodsky during firing exchange with rebels. One soldier was killed in a firing exchange with rebels and 3 other Ukrainian soldiers were killed by a mine in Mariupol region by the Azov Sea. Moscow has rejected entire allegations from Ukraine and the West for arming rebels, in spite of crushing the conflicting evidence. The rebels have strong and historic connections with Moscow since Ukraine was a part of the former Soviet Union.
