On Tuesday, the U.S President Trump said that it is disgraceful that the special counsel is investigating Russian interruption in the U.S election and a list of questions was leaked to the news media. The New York Times published at least 4 dozen questions on Monday night and collected by the attorneys of Trump. These questions were covering the motivations of Trump for firing the Director of FBI James Comey and contacts between Trump campaign officials and Russians. Trump tweeted on Tuesday that it is so disgraceful that the questions concerning the Russian Witch Hunt were leaked to the media. He added that an investigation began with illegally leaked classified information. It would seem very hard to obstruct justice for a crime that never happened in the past.

The investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller has repeatedly called “A Witch Hunt” by Trump. He also insisted that there wasn’t any collusion between his campaign and Russian interference. Trump has also blamed Comey for leaking secret and classified information. Point to be noted that Mueller was appointed to monitor the investigation by the deputy attorney general after Trump fired Comey in the month of May 2017. The team of Mueller has indicated to the lawyers of Trump that Trump should not be considered a target. The investigators remain interested in whether the actions of Trump constitute obstruction of justice and need to interview him regarding various episodes in office. Most of the questions obtained by the Times focused on the obstruction issue.
