US President Donald Trump attacked California Democratic Senator Kamala Harris after Joe Biden selected her as VP. He described her as Phony and predicted that she will prove to be the former vice president’s political living will. The campaign issued a statement and said, “Clearly, Phony Kamala will abandon her own morals, as well as try to bury her record as a prosecutor, in order to appease the anti-police extremists controlling the Democrat Party. Joe Biden is no moderate, and with Harris as his political living will, he is surrendering control of our nation to the radical mob with promises to raise taxes, cut police funding, kill energy jobs, open our borders, and appease socialist dictators”.

President Trump didn’t immediately directly comment but is slated to brief reporters on the coronavirus pandemic at 5:30 ET. But, he posted a campaign video on his personal Twitter account. The ad pointed out Biden has acknowledged his age, 77, and said he may only serve one term. The ad alleges him of handing the Reins to Kamala Harris. It said voters rejected her during the Democratic nominating process. But Trump informed reporters he thought she would be a “fine choice”, as she emerged as the frontrunner for the VP candidate slot in recent weeks. It is noteworthy that Joe Biden has selected California senator and former state attorney general Kamala Harris as his running mate.

It is important that Kamala Harris is the first black woman to run as vice president on a major political party’s ticket. The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee to face Donald Trump has mentioned her as a fearless fighter for the little guy, and one of the country’s finest public servants. Biden pointed to her close working relationship with his son Beau Biden, who served 2-terms as Delaware’s attorney general before his death following a brain cancer diagnosis in 2015. Biden said, “I watched as they took on the big banks, lifted up working people, and protected women and kids from abuse. I was proud then, and I’m proud now to have her as my partner in this campaign”.
