The U.S President Trump has boosted his aggressive attacks on the media on Thursday night. He also praised a Republican member of the U.S Congress about the assault on a journalist and suggested that it happened on the behalf of his state. The U.S President Trump ran through the elected GOP officials of the state before landing upon a Republican representative Greg Gianforte. Trump added, “I’ll tell you what: This man has fought in more ways than one, and he fought for your state”. He said that Greg Gianforte is a fighter and a winner. It might possible that the White House will try to make some clarifications and explanation on the comments of Trump. For example, the White House press secretary, Sarah Huckabee has repeatedly said that Trump never encouraged or promoted violence.

But, the example on Thursday was clearly in that attitude. Trump affirmed “in more ways than one” in a manner that made clear what his reference was related to. Gianforte isn’t a military veteran, as it could be the only valid explanation for the idea. But, the original scenario is that a politician “fought in more ways than one for your state”. But, the video has shown that Trump was openly and clearly pleased with his disguised reference. Point to be noted that Gianforte found guilty to a criminal assault on Guardian reporter Ben Jacobs. The incident took place 24 hours before the end of a special election campaign. He received a 180-day suspended sentence and required to do community service & pay a fine. He was also redirected to attend the anger management classes. He was forced to donate 50,000 U.S dollars to the Protect Journalists Committee.
