How to Get to Kheerganga (Khir Ganga Trek Routes):

From Barshaini, there are three different routes that can be taken to get to Kheerganga.

Through Nakthan and Rudranag (13 km):

Through Kalga (15 km):

Compared to Nakthan and Rudranag, the Kheerganga Trek through Kalga village is the less popular route. To take this route, walk towards Kalga village from the right side of the bridge in Barshaini. This path is encircled by dense forest.

Through Tosh Village:

The Kheerganga trek route is distinct from that of Tosh village, and it is mostly used by travellers who stayed in Tosh one night and planned to travel to Kheerganga the next morning.

Day 1:

Arrive in Barsheni Village and begin your trek to Kheerganga.

The trek to Kheerganga begins in Barsheni, on the Parvati River’s bank. Your hiking will begin once you arrive in Barshaini. Trek begins with a walk through dense pine forests, but once you cross an iron bridge over the river, the landscape changes to fields and villages.
