A number of news outlets reported last week that the U.S President Donald Trump has planned to meet the video game industry experts in order to discuss their supposed negative effects that led to terrible and deadly incidents in the real-world. The video game companies pointed out that the U.S government didn’t contact them regarding the issue. The ESA (Entertainment Software Association) pointed out that a meeting has planned with the U.S President Trump and it will take place on Thursday 8^th March 2018 in order to discuss various points about video games. The ESA will discuss the benefits of video games and other related issues with Trump. The ESA also said that video games are offering best entertainment around the world. There are a large number of people getting benefits including various reputable scientific studies.

The ESA also said that they are deeply concerned as all Americans regarding a significant amount of increase in gun violence in the world, especially in the United States. But, just video games shouldn’t be considered the main issue, there are various other issues connected to recent unfortunate violence incidents happened in the United States. The ESA also indicated that entertainment is being distributed worldwide, but there is a much higher level of gun violence in the United States as compared to other nations in the world. It is important that the White House administration has planned a special meeting with the Entertainment Software Association and it would offer a fact-based conversation opportunity. The ESA has confirmed that their major objective is commitments to parents and they will get acceptable entertainment options.
