US President Donald Trump’s military physician Dr. Sean Conley said Trump is returning to the White House even though he may not entirely be out of the woods yet and will still receive powerful drugs once back at the executive office. Dr. Conley again sidestepped a number of questions during a daily update briefing, including when the president had his last positive coronavirus test and how the medical team could ensure Trump would be safe quarantining at the White House. He didn’t announce that Trump could soon return to the campaign trail. Dr. Conley said, “About travel, we’ll see. He’s back”. He also indicated that privacy laws protect any president’s privacy and stopping him to discuss certain tests such as chest scans.

Dr. Conley said there is no evidence of a live virus in Trump’s system. He also claimed that President Trump is less at risk of spreading it to others. The military physician smiled as he dodged questions and said things like we send patients home all the time with drugs while ignoring the powerful nature of the ones Trump is on. But, Trump’s medical team didn’t guarantee the President would ride out the rest of his quarantine period while staying in the White House. He was asked if he would be moving around inside the White House, Dr. Conley merely said the medical team would do whatever they need to help President Trump to do his routine job.

Trump’s physician said Trump was given steroid dexamethasone on Saturday after his blood oxygen level had suddenly dropped twice in recent days, but he has continued to improve. Conley said President had a high fever and a blood oxygen level below 94% on Friday and during another episode on Saturday. He also confirmed that President Trump was given oxygen on early Friday. It is noteworthy that Trump got a second dose of remdesivir and discharged on Monday to continue his treatment at the White House residence. President Trump also released a video before leaving Walter Reed hospital and riding in a vehicle to his fans gathered outside.
