A website “Philadelphia Inquirer” published an article on 19th June 2016 and reported that an elementary school in Collingwood, New Jersey called the police due to a student in the school was affronted over the use of the word “brownies” and one student allegedly found to be small-minded. The credibility of the claim was appeared questionable because of the 2nd paragraph of the article. The article indicated the trouble generated from the mother of student who supposedly caused discrimination of brownie offense. It is possible that mother of student provided an entirely accurate detail of events. But, it is important that why police asked questions from a little child?

Point to be noted that most of the parents of students became angry due to the administrative decisions of school regarding the poor source of exact reporting. Most of the details were absent from the news account such as original complaint that generated a police response and the police verified or not the claim of student’s mother. This article discussed widely due to an increase in police responses to the school, but didn’t produce any result regarding “brownie” claim.
