The U.S President made no comment on reports that he plans to eliminate the Secretary of Homeland Security, Kirstjen Nielsen. Some sources close to the issue informed that Nielsen will be leaving but didn’t mention the specific time. Trump admired her last month over her response to horrible hurricanes. She is a vocal advocate for the immigration policies of the U.S President. But our sources said that she might be a victim to the irritation of Trump that his immigration agenda has delayed. Last week, Trump said that a number of changes will be made after midterms in his administration.

New changes in White House

The forced elimination of Nielsen would lead to another clash between the Chief of Staff John Kelly and the U.S President. Kelly is the strongest supporter of Nielsen in the White House. So, the elimination of Nielsen could result in the departure of Kelly. Sources added that after leaving of Kelly, the president should bring in someone with more potential of political experience in the preparation for the re-election campaign 2020.

Melania Trump also made her own personal recommendation. She found unsatisfied with Mira Ricardel (deputy national security advisor), who traveled with her last month to Africa. Donald Trump said that Ricardel was found involved in misbehaving over seating on the plane. The office of the first lady also said that Ricardel no longer deserves the honor to serve in the White House. It is noteworthy; the U.S President Trump has shared some points directly with her husband while Ricardel is still doing her job.
