Redmi recently announced that the company will launch its Note 12 lineup of smartphones in China in October 2022. However, the company hasn’t yet released any information related to the global launch of the Note 12 lineup. A tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has now suggested information about the global launch of the Note 12 series.

The tipster indicated that the Note 12 lineup will not appear for a global launch till Q1 of 2023. This is following the brand’s status quo as the Redmi Note 11 was released in October last year in China. But customers must wait for more than 3 months to experience its global launch. Most experts believe the global launch of Note 12 will take place in January or February 2023.

Meanwhile, the tipster suggested the global lineup of Redmi 12 will feature completely different smartphones than the existing Chinese models. This suggestion seems disappointing because it could generate more confusion similar to the Note 11 series. Keep in mind that it ended up having way too many versions in the Note 11 lineup.

Upcoming Note 12 Lineup with 210W Fast Charging

The Redmi Note 12 series will reportedly include entirely different phones compared to the current Chinese versions. The upcoming smartphone will probably feature various SoC options. It includes some modifications in design and supposedly different camera hardware options. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 12 series in China will assumingly feature at least one version with 210W fast charging.

Keep in mind that the 210W fast charging functionality is not available in the company’s worldwide models. Some previous reports for the Chinese models have mentioned features of the Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro Plus. Both versions feature a 50-megapixel main camera and a powerful 5,000mAh battery. These devices also have the Dimensity 1080 chipset accompanying an AMOLED display.

Redmi Note 12 Series Features a Horizontal LED Flash Unit

Meanwhile, you will find more information about the devices closer to their official launch date. Multiple reports have reported that Redmi is expected to launch the Redmi Note 12 lineup at the end of October. The Chinese manufacturer has now released an official statement. It says the company will launch the Note 12 series on October 27, at 7 pm, in the Chinese market.

Moreover, the tipster also provided an apparently better look at the camera module of the Redmi Note 12 lineup. The device is equipped with a triple camera setup along with a horizontal LED flashlight. The camera module design is identical to what was experienced on the Redmi Note 11T Pro lineup. The device was also announced in the month of May in China.

Note 11T Pro Features a Vertical LED Flash Unit

The key difference shows the Note 11T Pro features a vertical LED flashlight than a horizontal unit of Note 12. Now the company has confirmed the launch date for the Redmi Note 12 series. The device is expected to have some of its major features prior to its launch date. Redmi also indicated that the Note 12 series will provide an excellent photography experience.

It is important that the Redmi Note 12 series is now available for reservations in China. The upcoming lineup is expected to arrive with four devices including the Note 12, Note 12 Pro, Note 12 Pro Plus, and the Note 12 Pro Ultra. The Note 12 lineup will reportedly support up to 210W fast charging. The new series will feature an AMOLED display with an excellent refresh rate.
