A Facebook user Jeff Stern published a reproduced status with three photographs of armored vehicles of United Nations (UN) supposedly taken on 24th June at Interstate 81 near Lexington, Virginia. These images and posts were shared by millions of users on Facebook. An article of Daily Mail also inspired them indicating that the U.N is looking to respond the economic disaster in America. The Daily Mail normally publishes good news and true stories. But, this post was nothing more than posted photographs on Facebook. When we tried to contact Alpine Armoring about these photographs, a spokesman at Alpine informed us that the vehicles in these photographs were purchased by the United Nations and these vehicles will be used outside the United States.

Point to be noted that a large number of manufacturers of defense industry are located in & around the Washington D.C including Virginia. The UN representative also confirmed that the trucks were loaded with the vehicles ordered by the United Nations for the use abroad locations. The transportation is an essential part to deliver them to their final destination. It is a reasonable approach for secure delivery according to long distance. The same types of trucks will be appeared in other Southern states, but if those vehicles to be sent abroad using a cargo ship from the Southern port. It wasn’t clear that romors of the trucks were spotted in Kentucky or the social media users were really confused due to Lexington, Virginia and Lexington, Kentucky.
