2022 AEW Revolution Event Marks Great Entertainment with Championship Titles

The four annual pay-per-view events for All Elite Wrestling have brought more excitement for wrestling fans. The AEW Revolution on Sunday showed no difference with presenting brutal matches and exciting championship matches.2022 AEW Revolution

Adam Page (Hangman) defeated Adam Cole to defend and keep the AEW world championship title in the main event. However, Cole tried everything he could do and even significant support from his friend reDragon.

Moreover, Eddie Kingston won a big singles match near the half of the event and defeated Chris Jericho in a brutal fight.

Various news outlets including CBS Sports also joined the event and provided highlights and updates about the event.

A review of the 2022 AEW Revolution

Leyla Hirsch vs. Kris Statlander

Hirsch maintained her attack on the arm of Statlander. But statlander made a major attempt and caught Hirsch. Both women continued the fight and Hirsch hit Statlander while both crashed to the floor which helped build a movement to finish. Statlander pushed Hirsch outside the ring.

Hirsch pulled a turnbuckle hook from under the ring and smashed it into the face of Statlander. The referee didn’t see this happening which offered a match-winning point to Hirsch. The victory of Leyla Hirsch against Krist Statlander marked Grade C+.

Hook vs. QT Marshall

Hook started with a judo throw and smashed a bump into the face of Marshall. Hook then attempted a T-bone Supplex and pushed Marshall outside. Marshall responded with underhanded techniques.

Hook continued fighting with big suplexes and then attempted a diamond cutter. Hook locked in Redrum and eventually got a handsome victory. The match between Hook and QT Marshall received Grade C+.

Chris Jericho vs. Eddie Kingston

Kingston started with multiple half-and-half suplexes and dropped Jericho in the ring. Jericho tried rolling out of the ring but Kingston pulled him back. Jericho made a move for the knockout using his back elbow.

But Kingston attempted 2 backfists and locked Jericho in stretch plum and eventually got a big victory. It was the best kind of wrestling because both were engaged in brutality. The winning of Eddie Kingston against Chris Jericho got Grade A-.

AEW Women’s Championship

Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. (c) vs. Thunder Rosa

Baker started with her disrespectful attack and learned to have the support of Rebel and Jamie Hayter at ringside. Baker efficiently responded to every move of Rosa and repeatedly cut off her attempts before starting the offense. However, Rosa managed to hit a tombstone pile driver.

But Rebel jumped on the ring ropes to stop the referee from making the count. Hayter threw a title belt in the ring and Baker hit a stomp for a 2-count. Baker again attacked Rosa and she dropped into the ring for a pinfall. The match was quite disappointing and marked Grade C-.

AEW Tag Team Championship

Jurassic Express (c) vs. reDragon vs. The Young Bucks

The match started with reDragon and the Bucks breaking up pin attempts on Jungle Boy. However, Jungle Boy caught in peril for a long stretch but made an attempt and reached his partner Luchasaurus. Then Luchasaurus rapidly and effectively took out all the members of reDragon and Bucks. The Jurassic Express made excellent moves and both challenging teams finally started fighting separately instead of working together.

Jungle Boy hit a shooting star press on Kyle O’Reilly and Luchasaurus held O’Reilly. Jungle Boy continued to eat major hits from the challengers, including a BTE Trigger. The match ended as O’Reilly was unable to break the pin, which allowed Jurassic Express to retain the title. It was a great match as Jurassic Express defeated The Young Bucks and Dragon and retained the title with Grade B.
