Most people weren’t delighted regarding the latest tweets of the U.S President Trump on the situation in Puerto Rico about Hurricane Maria. The U.S President warned in a series of tweets on Thursday that first responders will not stay for forever in Puerto Rico. The resident of Madison County, Pete Rodriguez said that the U.S President is basically unable to understand the Puerto Rico people. Rodriguez added that they aren’t there with their hand out and just looking for something free, but they aren’t the people of Puerto Rico. He added that these American citizens are still battling for their survival in Puerto Rico. Mother Nature people have seized through the island and they have left a lot of destruction behind them.

Rodriquez also said that his family is still there and they are doing as they can be. At least 80% of the island still has a lack of power and water is flowing a little more. He added that his family has reported that they have seen some federal help. He said that “I really don’t know how distribution is going because I am not there, but I heard that it is all good”. Jose Matienzo (Madison County resident) said that there is a lot of information regarding the island situation, but it has been confirmed that there are a large number of people still need a significant amount of help. He added that it is unfortunate to find such aggressive tweets from the U.S President and it is incorrect because we are those people as Trump mentioned in his tweets.
